We offer a technology called “Aerohydroponics”: plants are grown not in soil, but in a well-balanced nutrient solution saturated with oxygen. (For a more detailed description, see below.) Due to its adaptability, this alternative growing method has enormous potential. This method can be used in any conditions: it allows growing both in a big city and in remote rural areas. One of the concepts we have been implementing in California is the “Family Farm”. The “Family Farm” concept is aimed at allowing families or individuals, regardless of where they live, to grow part of the vegetables they consume themselves, instead of buying expensive products from intermediaries. And also, in case of a surplus of harvest, to have the opportunity to sell vegetables at the local market, to cooperatives or restaurants. In our greenhouses in the south of France, we are studying several popular crops in order to give gardeners an alternative to traditional crops and to allow them to escape the vicious circle of endless subsidies. We pay special attention to the study of medicinal plants, the cultivation of which poses the problem of increasing the quality of the harvest and stopping the collection of endangered plant species. Our research is aimed at selecting the desired species, optimizing their yield and increasing the content of active elements in them. Knowing the lack of food and water on our planet, we participate in projects to provide food to the population of third world countries. Adapting our technologies to existing conditions, we teach the population how to satisfy their basic needs for food, and where possible, how to earn an income. As environmentalists, we try to utilize recycled materials. Solving the problem of electricity consumption, we are currently testing the first solar-powered systems in California. After several years of intensive research, we are proud to offer a new concept of plant cultivation - "bioponics" (patent No. 05.11569), i.e. organic hydroponics. Bioponics combines all the advantages of hydroponics and organics, meeting the principles of continuous development.
