Philosophy of American Genetics in Holland

Since its inception, THSeeds has been at the forefront of breeding in the New School of Cannabis Genetics.
Coming from a time when every hybrid in Amsterdam was Northern Lights, Skunk and Shiva in varying proportions, THSeeds has worked long and hard to bring new, consistent strains to the market.
The company brought Original Bubblegum from the United States and was the first to sell Bubblegum™ seeds (see New York Times, February 1994).
It is these very Bubblegum genetics that have helped countless coffee shops win countless High Times Cannabis Cups over the years.
After Bubblegum, THSeeds released SAGE (Sativa Afghani Genetic Equilibrium™) into the world, having traveled a long way from the high mountains of central California to Holland.
Named for its distinctive flavour and aroma, the strain is very similar to Haze, but benefits from its large yields due to its Afghani heritage and retains a superb aroma.
Within two years, the THC percentage of this strain, submitted in 50 varieties to all coffee shops and seed companies participating in the High Times Cannabis Cups, was increased to over 20%, and SAGE took third place in 1998 and second in 1999.
And both these years its THC was higher than that of the winning strains!
In the same year 1999, SAGE again won the Cannabis Cup in the Water Hash category.
