Belagro mineral wool mat (dense)
The mineral wool substrate "BELAGRO" is used as artificial soil for growing vegetable crops using low-volume technology in closed-ground workshops.
The substrate is made from mineral (stone) wool. Its composition is similar to soil minerals, but it is not a source of nutrients. The binding substance used to obtain mineral wool maintains the fibers at a certain distance from each other. Its physical properties are similar to high-moor peat and it is sterile, i.e. it does not contain weeds, pathogens or toxic substances.
Size: 103x20x10 cm
Mats with random fiber arrangement
The randomly arranged fibers give the mats increased rigidity in all planes, which makes it possible to use them for a long time. Some of the fibers arranged vertically allow the substrate to drain well, so such mats are somewhat drier than mats with horizontally arranged fibers. In terms of parameters such as shrinkage upon complete wetting and moisture capacity, these mats correspond to imported analogues. The germination of the root system of plants occurs here faster than in mats with horizontally arranged fibers.
