Flora Kleen by General Hydroponics is a unique salt remover. Flora Kleen was developed to remove fertilizer residue that can build up in hydroponic systems, growing media, and potting soil. It is safe to use in any system while growing plants. It can also be used between harvests to remove salt buildup. Unlike others, this solution is not enzyme based and uses a completely different technology.
Flora Kleen can be applied at any stage of the plant’s life.
During cultivation, FloraKleen :
- Dissolves accumulations of mineral salts.
- Reduces plant stress from the use of excess and unbalanced fertilizers.
- Breaks down nutrient compounds that hold salts in the plant environment.
- Supports and nourishes microbial life in the substrate.
FloraKleen is also great for final cleaning:
Use FloraKleen for final cleaning for a few (1-2) days before harvest to stimulate ripening. Can be used alone or in combination with Ripen solution.

Instructions for use:
In a hydroponic system:
Between changing nutrient solutions: 1.5 – 3 ml per 1 liter of water. Use a softer solution for young or fragile plants, and a stronger one for old and strong ones closer to the fruiting period. Do not use other fertilizers for 24 hours.
Final cleaning:
1. Do it yourself: Drain and discard old nutrient solution. Fill hydroponic reservoir with fresh water and add FloraKleen (3 ml per 1 liter of water). Use during the last 1-2 days of flowering.
2. In combination with Ripen : Add 3 ml FloraKleen per 1 liter of water during the last 1-2 days of flowering to increase sugar levels in the fruits.
In soil for indoor plants and hydroponics:
1. On your own:
Water the plants generously with ForaKleen solution (1.5-3 ml/l). Include this procedure in the watering schedule.
2. In combination with Ripen :
Add 3 ml FloraKleen per 1 liter of water during the last 2 days of flowering to increase sugar levels in the fruits.
Note : FloraKleen and Ripen are not opposites, but work perfectly in tandem.
